1858:
33 private individuals buy the land of the former medieval Augustinian monastery “inter lacus”.

1859:
Opening of a whey health spa with assembly room, lounges for reading, games, conversation, dining, music and balls.

1862:
Establishment of the Aktiengesellschaft Kurhausgesellschaft Interlaken.

1910:
Opening of the large concert hall and auditorium.

1967:
Opening of the new entrance on the Höheweg and the "Petit Casino“.

1980:
Formal opening of the new congress building and extensive redevelopment of the historic spa assembly room.

1998:
Change in the law to allow gambling in Switzerland again and to award casino licenses.

2001:
Interlaken is awarded a B license. The concession is granted for 20 years.

2009:
Casino Kursaal Interlaken celebrates its150th anniversary.

2010:
Opening of the new Auditorium on 1 May 2010.

Takeover of Interlaken Congress & Events AG and integration in the Sales Department of Casino Kursaal Interlaken AG

2011:
Change of name from Casino Kursaal Interlaken AG to Congress Centre Kursaal Interlaken AG
 

The Casino offers 124 gaming machines as well as American Roulette, Black Jack and Poker.
 

The facilities of the Congress Centre Kursaal Interlaken include numerous rooms where events for more than 2000 people are held.
